The Illinois Principals Association (IPA) encourages all communities in Illinois to celebrate Principal Appreciation Week October 20-26, 2024, and Principal Appreciation Day on Friday, October 25, 2024. This state-endorsed recognition was first approved by the Governor of Illinois in 1990 and is celebrated annually.

The regularly-scheduled Board of Education Meeting of Tuesday, May 16, 2023 has been rescheduled to Tuesday, May 9, 2023 at 7:00 p.m. The date change is due to the recent Board of Education election and compliance with election rules to seat and reorganize the Board of Education within 40 days after the election. The May 9, 2023 Board of Education Meeting will take place at Hille Middle School, 5800 West 151st Street, Oak Forest, IL 60452 at 7:00 p.m. In addition to seating of new Board Members and Reorganization, the regular work of the Board of Education will take place.
